a wandering glimpse of the world from a bunch of different perspectives. here it is in its abridged form, before it went crazy. i'm working on refining the sixteen pages i added onto this into some sort of workable story. i might just leave it as is, i don't know if anything could really be added to this.

begun 4/14/01 at some ridiculously early hour of the morning, this is a brief, extremely daft view of what the perfect religion would be like. God grants prayers. The devil sips at pints in a pub in England. I have no idea where this is going, or if it is only hysterically funny when you've been deprived of sleep for awhile. (I couldn't stop laughing this morning when Geoff and me awoke to find a rat clambering amoung the sheets with us, but then again, I still think that was funny.)

okay, so Phoenix isn't the only story I've ever written that began with two pages of decent writing and then blundered off into 15 more highly confused add-ons. here's the first two, I'll add more as it becomes readable.

a long story that will NEVER END (it has told me this numerous times) and which writes itself whenever I'm not looking.

Not a very intriguing title, granted, but I like this story so far... and it's enjoying a strange affair with Julien Fils right now, not sure why, though. This is what I'm most likely to be working on if I'm actually writing.
