Appearance:  Joseph's inner turmoil manifests in his visage, deep shadowed eyes appear forever morose; predatory cheeks cut etch deep along his pale face; thick silken black hair contrast heavily against his smooth marble like skin.  Dutiful in his role as a hunter Joseph has a cold domineer.  He typically wears blacks, grays and dark reds. 

Background:  Joseph Knightblade was born in Verbrek and spent his youth as a farmer in a small community close to the Noisette River.  After his mother's death at the hands of a pack of werewolves Joseph become one of the most accomplished hunters of lycanthropes.  As the young warrior began to age it became apparent that his natural keen senses and abilities where more than natural talents. He soon learned that the dark gifts manifesting themselves as he aged would soon be more of a curse.  

    Joseph is an master swordsman and a expert tactician.  He kills only when needed and only drains the blood from the wicked.  Joseph keeps himself in top physical form, and is continually seeking to enrich his martial prowess.  While he travels from town to town Joseph keeps his eyes and ears open to new affairs and the little details of life everywhere in Ravenloft.  He never goes into a situation blind and tends to over prepare for unlikely situations.

   At one time Joseph believed he destroyed his father Baron Urik von Kharkov, but now he knows that his father still lives.  Joseph has been spending the last few years trying to find a way back into the domain of Valachan, so that he can finish his business with his father once and for all.
