Same day at Norton, Mr James SELLER, aged 66 years. He was for 46 years a steady and consistent member of the Wesleyan Society, and for upwards of 42 years a local preacher in connection with that body, being the oldest on the plan. His end was peace.

We are sorry to record the death of Colonel C. A. FITTZ-HARDINGE BERKELEY, C.B., of H.M.'s 32nd? Regiment, which occurred on board the Simla, on her homeward passage to Suez, on Sept 24th?

Abraham BOLD, formerly sergeant in the 7th fusiliers, a warrior of thirteen battles and a hundred skirmishes, died recently in Huddersfield. He served with great credit during the penninsular campaign, and did not escape

wounds. His reward was shilling a day! Since 1816? he has lived by weaving and latterly as a porter.

On Tuesday, November 9th, at 3.15 in the morning, the Rev. John HICKLING finished his useful and happy life in great peace. He was in the 71st year of his ministry, and would have been 93 years old, had he lived only three weeks longer. With him has died the LAST of that noble body of men sent out to preach by the late Rev. John Wesley. His last public service he conducted at Birmingham a fortnight since, when he lectured on "Early Methodism." At the time of his death large hand bills were announcing him to conduct six services in this circuit and Kingswood near Bristol, - He has conducted on the average 150 special public services a year, during the last three years, and collected hundreds of pounds for chapels and other funds.

Mr SMEE, chief accountant of the Bank of England, died on Wednesday evening.

The Earl of Cortown died on Saturday evening, at his residence in the county of Wexford.

We regret to have to announce the premature demise, after a long and lengthened illness, of Lord Henry CECIL, fourth son of the Marquis and Marchioness of Exeter.

We have to record the death of John Joshua Lord PROBY, heir to the earldom of Carysfort, in his 25th year.

Worcester - November 15th, at Barbourne house, in his 84th year, Lieut.-General Thomas LIGHTFOOT, C.B., last surviving officer in the renowned 45th Regiment. The deceased entered the army very early in life, served in the Peninsula with Moore and left with Wellington. He survived seven wounds and one ball remained in him till his death. He received three gold and eleven silver medals, being one more than the Duke of Wellington.
