A Tribute to Kelsie

~*The Rain*~
A gentle touch of Heaven,
Of warm, soft summer rain;
Falling downward from the clouds,
To kiss the earth again.
Each drop a sweet surrender,
That slowly fades from sight;
Yet in each drop is beauty,
And the promise there of life.
Yet as each raindrop fades from sight,
Its story has yet to be told;
Till we see the gift of each gentle drop,
As the beauty of spring unfolds....
A tender touch of Heaven,
A child's sweet, innocent love;
Falling gently as the rain,
A gift from the Father above.
The child a unique treasure,
Each one as a drop of rain;
Bringing joy and beauty,
And the promise of life again.
Yet as that sweet life fades from sight,
Its story has yet to be told;
We will see the gift of love they left,
As the beauty of spring unfolds....

Precious Little Angels
When God calls little children
to dwell with Him above,
we mortals sometime question
the wisdom of His love.
For no heartache compares
with the death of one small child,
who does so much to make our world
seem wonderful and mild.
Perhaps God tires of calling
the aged to His fold,
so He picks a rosebud
before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them,
and so He takes but few,
to make the land of heaven
more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult
still somehow we must try,
the saddest word mankind knows
will always be "Goodbye".
So when a little child departs,
we who are left behind,
must realize God loved children,
Angels are hard to find.
