The 2000 McKean Highlander Marching Band, under the direction of Mr. Brian Casey, presents
The music was derived from Dante's "Inferno". Joe Henderson arranged Robert W. Smith's versions of "The Inferno" and "Fire of Eternal Glory" for the band. The Inferno opens with soloists Karly Nawrocki on Baritone and Ashley Howard in Dance. The second tune opens with a brass quartet including Mandy Stille and Kaci Allsopp on trumpet, Karly Nawrocki on Baritone, and Bill Meehan on tuba. During the show the tempos range from 64 to 165 with time signatures including 3/4 mixed with 2/4, and 7/8. The percussion is featured during the second tune as are the color guard, and the woodwinds.
