Chapter 2: The Unexpected
“Hey mom, can I go over to Sarah’s house and spend the night?” Reanna asked.
Jill looked at her and nodded yes. Reanna went to her room and packed. She thought of
all the past years. She knew that all the pain was past them and were going to start over.
She went back outside to find Dana and Brian playing basketball.
“Guess what? I get to
go over to Ann’s house to play with Madison!” Dana informed her sister.
“Thats cool,”
Reanna smiled, “I get to go over to Sarah’s house!” Reanna went over to Sarah. They
said their good-byes and were off to Sarah’s house.
Jill was cleaning up things around the backyard, picking up trash. Kevin was
helping her when he asked her, “Would you like to go out with me tonight?” Jill looked
at him and stared into his tranquil green eyes.
“Yes, I would love to.”
“Great, I’ll pick
you up at 7:00 okay?” Kevin smiled. Jill nodded in approval. They finished cleaning up.
Kevin said goodbye and left to clean up.
Later that night Kevin arrived at Jills house , the door was open so he walked in
the house “Jill I’m--” Kevin began but was interrupted by an earth shattering BOOM!!!
Then he saw Jill fall lifelessly to the ground. Blood ran from her head. Kevin looked up
to see Jimmy holding a gun. Jimmy looked at him and at first was startled, then he smiled
wickedly. and hissed, “Congratulations Kev, you’ve just become a father.” With that
Jimmy stuck the gun in his mouth and pulled the trigger.
