BACK Here are some tips for diablo II characters on where to level up and how to use your skill points and what level with those certain skills in that right area. I will also list all the skills your certain character you should have to be good at that lv...NOTE i have a lot of high level characters so i do know what i am saying and by useing this guied as a reference.
NORMAL DIFFICULTY: level 1-5 for all characters should be in den of evil(act1)....levels 6-10 dark woods(act1)...... levels 11-13 catocombs(act1)..... levels 14-18 sewers(act2)..... levels 19-23 lost city and canyon of the magi(act2)....levels 23-25 flayer jungle(act3).... levels 25-28 plains of despare(act4)....28-30 river of flame and choas sancary(act4)
NIGHTMARE DIFFICULTY:levels 31-32 den of evil, cold plains, dark wood(act1)...levels 33-38 sewers(act2)......levels 39-42 canyon of the magi and in tombs(act2)...levels 43-48 flayer jungle and beyond way points(act3.....levels 49-53 plains of depare(act4)....54-59 river of flame and choas sancuary(act4) kill diablo at level 59 or 60...diablo is level 60 and you will get the best items and best exp if his level
HELL DIFFICULTY: levels 60-68 sewers(act2)...levels 69-74 arcain sancuary(act2)...levels 75-80 flayer jungle and beyond way points(act3)....levels 81-87 plains of despare....levels 88-99 river of flame and chaos sancuary!
I know all of these information because i have characters in those levels and its a great guide people i fallow all thise levels and i level up soooo fast its scary lol. The reason for all that to be in the right place and what level you should be at the same place is because the monsters in the game have levels then selfs...to get the monsters max exp you must be the level of the monster or 4 levels higher than the monster its self....a BOSS GUIDE will fallow next so you know what level to advace to the next area is and what level you need to be to kill that boss

NIGHTMARE DIFFICULTY:kill andarial at lv 33-34...kill durial at level 42-43.....kill mephisto at level 47-48....kill diablo at level 59-60...why are these like thise..all these bosses are those levels or lower when you kill them and when you kill the boss at his/her own level you get 2X the exp and a lot better items from them like rares/unqiues
HELL DIFFICULTY:kill andarial at level 64-65...kill durial at level 73-74....kil mephisto at level 79-80...kill diablo at level 90.you should really hold off on killing diablo till level 90 for a couple of reason:he gives great exp, you can find +2ammys and really really good rares that are the usual GODLY rares only found from diablo by a level 90 person...NOTE:once you have killed a boss in a certain difficulty they will no longer gives rare/unqiues only magic items so dont waste your time on them they arent worth the trouble!
QUESTS AND REWARDS
ACT1
ACT1, QUEST1:go to the den of evil out side of the blood moor and kill every monster there...reward:+1 skill point to use at any skill you have avalible on your skill list
ACT1, QUEST2:go to the cold plains once in the cold plains find the burial grounds and kill blood raven in the burial grounds...reward:a fighter to help you defeat evil
ACT1, QUEST3: go to through a tunel in the stoney field to the dark woods, once in the dark woods find the scrool, take the scrool back to akara. then with the scrool go to the stoney field and find the carny stones. hit the stones in the right pattern and go down to tristram and save decard cain...reward:cain will identify anything and everything for free, and a ring for akara(maybe rare, maybe magic. ya never know)
ACT1, QUEST4:go through the dark woods and find the black marsh. once in the black marsh find the tower celler and keep going down to level 5 and kill the evil countess...reward:all the gold that pops out of the box, and the respect and trust of all the NPC's in act1 town.
ACT1, QUEST5:go through the black marsh and the tomb highland. then find the monestary barracks. once there you will find the outer cloister and then the barracks. go through the barracks and kill the smith. then you will find a little hammer(NOTE:you may not do this quest till level 8 or beyond or else you will not be able to pick up the hammer)take the little hammer back to charsi...reward:Charsi will imbue any thing you want, that is not a:ring, ammy, rare, unqiue, or magic item.
ACT1, QUEST6: go to the catocombs way point 2 or once in the moestary you will find the jail cellar level 1...go there and reach your way down till you find the inner cloister once at the inner clositer go throuhg a large door and you'll be in a long hall way at the end is the catacombs level 1 work your way down to catocombs level 4 and kill the evil Andarial...reaward:advancment to act2
ACT2
ACT2, QUEST1:In lut goliem youll find a way to the sewers, venture down in the sewers till you find sewers level 3. there you will have to kill radament...reward:Radament will drop the book of skills which will give you 1 to a skill of your choice that you have avalible
ACT2, QUEST2: find the horodric cube by going to the halls of the dead and opening up a little box...find the staff by going to the far oasis and going down to the maggot lair level 1, venture down to the maggot lair level 3 and kill th lair boss and open a box and the staff will fall out...go to the lost city once in the lost city find the valley of snakes, once in the vally find the claw viper temple and go to the level 2 of the claw viper temple and find the head piece of the staff...once you have the head piece and the staff put them in the horodric cube and hit the trasmute button and you will get a full staff called the horrodric staff.
ACT2, QUEST3: this quest is done by getting the entire staff
ACT2, QUEST4:this quest is also done easy
ACT2, QUEST5:kill the summoner in the arcain sancuary...reward: getting the simbol to the right tomb to complet quest6
ACT2, QUEST6: find the right tomb then go down and find the altar, put your horrodric staff in the altar and go down and kill durial and talk and to terial...reward: advancment to act3 and all the items durial drops(rares, unqiues, and magic items)
ACT3
ACT3, QUEST1:Find and kill a unqiue monster(the monsters that have minions around them) the first unqiue monster you kill should drop the jade figurine. take the jade figurine into town and go to miscife (i didnt spell the name right but hes the guy that brought you to act3 from act2 if that rings a bell) he will give you the golden bird...take the golden bird to Alkor...he will tell you to wait a second once he clicks out from you click back to him and he will have made a potion thats perminent 20 to life...Reward: perminent +20 to life elixer ;)
ACT3, QUEST2:Go to the Flayer jungle and find the spot with a little bolier pot with dead people in it...click on the little hut with a knife sticking out and a bunch of monsters will come out kill the champion or the unqiue monster and he will drop the gibbmen take the gibbmen to the Ormus...Reward:a rare or magic ring from Ormus
ACT3, QUEST3:assemble Kalimes Flail...find the heard..flail..brain..and eye piece as you venture through out act3(NOTE: this quest really doesnt have to be done hell i never ever do it i just find some one that will give me the durance of hell way point 2 and Kill mephisto that way lol)...reward: a way down to mephisto(thats all suckers who do this unimportant quest...)well there is one benifit..you learn mephisto's weak ness.
ACT3, QUEST4:The place varies on where you need to go from normal to nightmare to hell difficulties...its never the same per difficulty...find the right place to go down into and find the Lamb Esnas Tomb...Reward:+5 stat points to any stat you wish
ACT3, QUEST5:Kill the high councile in travical...Reward:all the councile members like the Zakaru and all them healing shits will be afraid of you and run for their life every time they see you coming towards them.
ACT3, QUEST6:Kill Mephisto...reward: all the things he drops advancemnt to act4
ACT4
ACT4, QUEST1:Find Izual in the plains of despair..kill him and talk to his soul that flouts in the air...go to the act4 town and go to Teryial to claim your reward...Reward:+2 to any skill of your choice in idiviidual( you can put 1 to wirl wind and 1 to fastestrun/walk if a barb lol)
ACT4, QUEST2:Find Haphesto in the River Of Flame and kill him...he will drop the hell forge hammer pick it up and identify it...get the soul stone from Cain if you didnt want to keep it from act3...put the stone in the hell forge and smash the hell forge with the hammer when you wear the hammer...Reward: 4 gems of any type Perfect, flawless, or regular.
ACT4,QUEST3:Find diablo in the chaos sacuary beyond the river of flame...unlock the 5 sleals and kill the 3 unqiue monsters and diablo will be released...Reward: all the items he drops and advancment to the next difficulty if there is one
NOTE: look back up at my boss guide to see what levels you should be when you kill diablo because if in the right levels the better things he will drop for you thats why i frown on the Faggot's who are such low levels and they killed him in hell dif...hehehe dont worry i was once one of you people too with my first barb THAT I MADE A MULE CAUSE HE SUCKS NOW BECAUSE I MESSED HIM UP BY BEING IN HELL DIF TO EARLY I COULDNT KILL ANYTHING AND I GOT VERY BAD EXP THERE...he was lv 28 when he became a baron lol...he shouldn't even have been in nightmare yet at that level yet he passed nightmare and hell dif lol...he was my worst char i ever made besides sorceress the highest i can ever get them to is 34 and necros i can only get the them to level 33 lol...they go sooo fucking boring after a while its scary how boring they can man....they get no fun and they take for ever to level up because their items suck and they are always the same thing over and over and over again never changelol)
