SUDDEN INFANT DEATH SYNDROME
sometimes called Crib Death, is when a baby dies unexpectedly, usually during periods of sleep. SIDS is the number one cause of deaths in Canada for infants between 1 week and 1 year of age and happens without warning to apparently healthy babies.SIDS can not be predicted or truly prevented at this time, however there are steps you can take to reduce the risk.
