Friends, both mortal & immortal, human or not- Once in a thousand years a hero is born.A true hero is noble in both mind & spirit.A brave soul who perhaps doesn't realize his potential, although others see it from the beginning.

Such is Alan Francis Doyle, or "Doyle" to his friends. Robin to Angel's Batman, Doyle is far & above most regular sidekicks. For one, he's not entirely human. While most people struggle with their inner demons, Doyle's battle is far more realistic. Half demon on his father's side, he has always struggled to repress his unique individuality fearing that should he release the beast within, he could leave behind his human soul

On November, 30, 1999, Doyle became all that he never knew he was. In order to save countless other demons from hellish persecution, he sacrified his life. He embraced his demon self & opened his human heart, so, that hope would survive. Foresaking, his own demons & a love that could've been timeless. He willingly stepped into that burning abyss leaving behind only his memory for Angel & Cordelia to remember.

This never should've happened! There are darker, stronger powers that have disabled us & taken over all that could have been & all that should be. We need your help! For Doyle wasn't meant to die! Such nobilty of spirit & pure love for both worlds is rare & although half demon- Doyle's heart was entirely too human.

Hear our cry join our ranks & together with our combined powers, we can repair the fabric of justice which has been surely ripped asunder. Help us to restore balance to the fight between good & evil for surely Doyle's sacrifice has proven he was a WARRIOR all along.
