The treasure ship was a fun place
from little lizzards on strings that would drop down near people
to
fresh henweigh offered to guests,
whats a henweigh? About two pounds without the feathers
At the same time Norman also founded a Jacksonville based courier and trucking service
Action Delivery Systems,which he operated from 1983 till 1989
and did Free lance Photography for area Newspapers
Norman was a beachcomer and daily drove the beachfront
finding artifacts to collect and sell
occasionaly a local squall would cover the beach
with thousands of shells starfish and crabs
which were processed and preserved for sale
For a few years offshore coastal waters had an abundance of scallops
and the boats dragging for scallops also brought in collectable larger shells
Norman had arrangements with some of the processors
to purchase the shells and in the side yard
was able to clean and detail the shells and wholesale them to many other shops
In june of 1989 Norman started A1A tours and Transportation, a service
for area visitors and residents, to attractions, concerts, day cruises,
Dinner theaters, and a itinerary of almost 100 things to do and places to visit
As the years passed the storms eventually took their toll on the ship design
and the structure was modified to keep it structuraly safe and be able to
take the beating from the ever increasing storms effecting the area
EACH STORM DEGRADED THE STRUCTURE MORE
THE AREA SUFFERED FROM SO MUCH DAMAGE VISITORS STAYED AWAY
