Dubloon Disaster Tips

About Dubloon Disater

You play as Dorak the Krawk going around the sea collecting dubloons, avoiding homing mines and whirlpools in hid rowing boat. Each dubloon has a different point value, and obviously the more points you get the higher your score, meaning the more neopoints you get at the end of the game.

Tips

Mines:The most important tip that is vital to getting a good score is to always destroy the mines. To do this there needs to be more than 1 mine flotaing in the sea. Get 2 mines close together by putting your rowing boat between the 2 mines and slowly speed up as they get close together. if you have done this right then the 2 mines should crash into each other destroying themselves.
Whirlpools:Whrilpools are as deadly as they are good. They suck up everything around them and destroy them as they reach the middle of the whirlpool. The good side of this is that all the mines get destroyed and the dubloons stay in the same place(no, they dont get destroyed too). But the bad thing is that it also sucks dorak up to. To avoid this hold a directional button on your keyboard pointing away from the whirlpool and don't let go until it dissappears. When it's gone it's now as safe/dangerous as it was before the whirlpool was there.
Dubloons:Ahhh...the whole reason for playing this game; to get the dubloons. Dubloons range from 2 points to 200 points, but don't count on getting high values of dubloons all the time...the higher the value the rare they are, and i haven't seen any 200 dubloon coin's as yet. If you are lucky then you should get a 100 dubloon coin in the game more often than you think. Everytime you collect a dubloon 1 mine appears, collect another dubloon and another mine appears making it 2 etc. when you are trying to make mines colide there is still a chance that you will get hit by them rather than them hitting you. The trick is that if you see a high point dubloon; you get it before you make the dubloons colide, yes this means that 1 more mine will appear but you will have increased your points. If you do crash that turn then you'll be greatful that you got the points when you did(makes a big difference if its 50 points+).
