1986 Eagle

This was my second parting experience with an Eagle and I got alot more than out of the car then I had with the old '84. I found this car on Ebay but another guy won it. He ended not wanting it so I bought it for $130. It was pretty rough. It surely wasn't going to be passing PA inspection again in it's life. The main thing I wanted was the transfer case and the tranny but i couldn't get either because the bolts were too badly rusted to get off with hand tools and in my 2 days time I had to part. I still ended up with far more than $130 worth of parts and it was a overall good trip. I don't like removing these cars from the planet, but this 1986 was beyond done. Her organs may go on to save other though!!! The guy I bought it from was great. He let me part it in the back of the scrap yard and leave the body for him to take care of. So if you ever need towing done in Johnstown Pa I give my recomendations for Brat Towing.

Day 1 11:00am

The car was rusty on her underside, but the body was pretty straight
Good tail lights and rear hinges were a plus!

Day 2 4:30pm

I was going to pull the drums but they were rusting apart and I was too lazy to put the wheels back on.
Left alot of the big stuff because I already have plenty of it. Took the accessories that are harder to find in my collection to find and seem to break more often.
Chucked all the garbage in the back seat area (after I took the rear seats out). I ripped appart the dash padding to more quickly get to the valuables, and heck, lets be honest, brute force is alot more fun!
