In landslide victory Sounds Like Kong was voted the coolest band in the world. The poll, taken by Sounds Like Kong members, clearly shows SLK overcoming the competition in leaps and bounds. In a 2-1 decision SLK has a 50% lead on second place. The only other band that got a vote was an imaginary "Super Band" consisting of Tupac Shakur, George Clinton, Slash, Flea and the one armed guy from Def Lepard. "Man we are cool", states obviously pleased frontman Marty Barrett. "I thought for sure We'd be in the top ten, but to win!, man, just goes to show ya what three guys and a whole buttload of cool can do." The result of the other poll on the ballot, Who is the Hottest Member of Sounds Like Kong?, was a three-way tie for the winner.
