The Carpenter
I passed a great many summers working as a carpenter, so it was very amusing to see this guy destroy people with a wide ranger of tools. Some of the deaths were pretty ridiculous, but what can you expect. The acting was average, except for the Carpenter himself. He had a good look for the role, and seemed pretty obcessed with his work. The over-all story was kinda slow, and I spent a while trying to figure out if the woman was the killer or if there really was a killer construction worker. 2 out of 5.
Characters:
- Alice: Woman who has a breakdown and starts to see a carpenter killing people.
- Carpenter: Insane guy who work's on the house late at night, and even kills people for free. Seems kinda obcessive-compulsive.
- Martin: Alice's unfaithful husband. Killed by the carpenter.
- Rachel: Alice's bitter sister.
- Laura: Martin's mistress who gets nailed.... with a nailgun.
- Farnsworth: Foreman of the construction on the house. Seems like a push-over.
- Mr. Mort: Alice's boss at the local paint store. Looks like a nervous wessel.
- Sheriff JJ: Gues what his job is. He doesn't really serve much of a role in the movie.
The Totals:
- Body Count: 6

- Breast Shots: 0
- Moments where characters are mysteriously unable to run from certain death: 1
