Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday

Jason is lured into a set-up by the poilice, and is blown to shreds in the first five minuets. After that, things start to get wird. Apperently, Jason has the abilty to jump from body to body until he can be reborn from a Voorhees again. Bullshit. I hate it when some director, or script writer gets the idea that they're going to try to put a new radical twist on a classic idea, or movie. I didn't really care for this movie because of that reason. And they also throw in this baby from out of no where. Is the baby really needed? Most of the characters in here are one-dimentional, and we only really get to know 1 or 2 characters. There are a few small redeeming qualities to the film though. I like all of the propts from other movie, like the Necronomicon from Evil Dead, the crate from Creepshow, and metioning the 'Meyer's place.' The ending was great. Freddy's glove came up and pulled Jason's mask down. As far as special effects go, the melting bodies were cool, but the puppets were lame. I give this film a 1.5 out of 5, and thats being kind.
