Ginger Snaps
I have to admit I was a bit disappointed by this movie. It was a good movie, but after all the great things I heard about it, it was a small let down. I really dug the opening sequence where the girls put together their macabre footage of themselves impaled on fences, run over by a lawnmower, and hanging from a noose. There was also an ample supply of blood and gore throughout the movie, especially for it's small body count. My favorite scene was where a werewolf was hit by a van, and the werewolf practically exploded. Another of my favorite things about the movie was the gradual transformation that Ginger underwent, like the growing tail, and the sharpening teeth. I can't really describe what was wrong with the movie. I think it was just a little slow for my taste. Bottom line is a good movie, abd worth the rental, but don't get too excited. 3 out of 5.
