The Howling
I'm not really sure how this movie spawned 5 sequels. Don't get me wrong, it was a decent movie, but nothing spectacular. I'm a big fan of Joe Dante fan, but I wasn't that thrilled by this one. The plot of the fourth part was almost exactly like this one, so it seemed a little stale to me. The story is a woman retreats to a weekend in the country with her husband, and soon they are terrorized by werewolves. I soon became bored with the incerdibly slow transformations the werewolves kept makeing. If you're looking for a good werewolf movie, I recommend American Werewolf in London, or American Werewolf in Paris. 2.5 out of 5.
