Howling V: The Rebirth
SPOILERS AHEAD! Finally, a good movie from the Howling series. I really like this movie for a number of reasons. It was done in a different format than the other Howling movies I've seen. It was a who-dun-it kind of werewolf movie. The story is a group of seemingly random people are invited to attend a party at a castle. One-by-one, they get killed off until they discover who the werewolf is. Another thing I liked was that it was hard to pick a lead character. Every time I thought I knew who the lead was, they got killed off! Very cool. But my favorite aspect of the film was the fact that for once, the airhead bimbo was the killer. Very nice twist. I give this one a 3.5 out og 5.
Characters
- The Count: Hosts the party. Shot. It was a pretty bad party.
- Dr. Catherine Peake: Kinda bitchy. Chomped.
- Marylou Summers: Bit actress/waitress. Seemingly not too bright, but ends up being the werewolf.
- David: Photographer.
- Richard: Self absorbed rich guy. In love with Catherine. Chomped.
- Jonathan: Tennis player. Chomped.
- Gail: Singer. The first ti suspect something is wrong. Chomped.
- Anna: Famous actress. Chomped.
- Ray: Charming guy who tries to brave the blizzard instead of the werewolf. Chomped anyway.
