Leprechaun

The whole Leprechaun series is pretty much a joke. I have never been scared once while sitting through all 5 of the movies. I laughed during all of them, but I could never find The Leprechaun intimidating. Freddy Krueger managed to be funny and scary at the same, but the little green fellow just couldn't pull off both. The story drug a lot, and the acting was sub-par, even with Miss Aniston's contribution, although her short shorts were a real perk to this movie. The story also seemed really desperate for a body count. Bottom line is I think that this movie just barely qualifies in the horror section. Don't rent it if you want a scary or serious movie. Rent it if you're looking for a laugh or 2. But it's not even real funny. 2 out of 5.

• The Leprechaun: Obcessive compulsive little man who was once a shoemaker, and is pretty possesive about his coin collection.
• Tory: (Jennifer Aniston!) Spoiled rich girl. Also a vegetarian.
• Nathan: Suffers from the I Shot It, Therefore It's Dead Syndrome.
• Ozzie: A simplton, who frees the Leprechaun.

• JD: Tory's father. Hand gnawed on.
• Daniel O'Grady: Stole the Leprechaun's gold. Has a stroke, and eventually dies.
• Mrs. O'Grady: Dan's unsuspecting wife. Falls down some stairs.

• Joe: Coin shop owner. Pounced to death with a pogo-stick.

• A go-cart can roll a truck if it hits it.
• Gashes on legs completely heal in a matter of hours.
• Rest homes need security gaurds.
