Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child

I think that there's a point in a ong running series where the creators should decide to put their creations to rest. I think that the Nightmare on Elm Street series has run it's course, and now all of the movies are tired and grasping for a new angle. In this one, Freddy is haunting the dreams of a fetus. I loved the scene that showed Freddy's mother being attacked by the 100 maniacs and the comic strips scenes. Very cool. Granted, there were some cool scenes in the movie, but overall, it was rather lackluster. Also, I got the impression that there was a subconsious message about abortion in the story.

• Dan: Alice's man. Killed in a car wreck.
• Amanda Kreuger: Freddy's mother who was raped by 100 maniacs.
