Piranha (1978)
Being a pirhana owner, I was really looking forward to seeing this one. My only real complaint was with the fish themselves. They looked plastic and like something that should be on a plaque. I liked the characters and story in this one as well. See this one, but skip the sequel with the flying piranhas. 3 out of 5.

- Paul: Alcoholic recluse who lives in a cabin.
- Maggie: Bloodhound sent to find a few missing teens.
- Dr. Hoak: Keeps the piranha alive years after the project was shut down. Becomes suddenly rightious and then becomes fish food.
- Susie: Paul's daughter at summer camp. She afraid of the water, and I bet she's not much better after this movie.
- Jack: Old man the loves the river. Legs chomped off and bleeds to death.
- Betsy: Nice counselor who is eaten.
- Col Flaxman: Upper military guy who keeps the evil fish under wraps. Chomped, of course.
- Dr. Mengers: Another scientist who helps cover up the mutant piranha.
