Poltergeist II: The Other Side
The Freeling family has moved away from what's left of their haunted home, but the spirits follow and make their lives a living hell. (Did you catch the pun?) Well weird shit starts happening again and soon the family is running from the ghosts. The special effects for this flick were pretty cool. I liked the tequila worm monster scene, and teh flying chainsaw was niffty too. As far as sequels go, this was acceptable. 3 out of 5.
Characters:
- Steve: Dad of the family. He pukes up a tequila worm monster in this one!
- Diane: The mom of the family. Spends most of the time freaking out about the crazy shit happening to her family.
- Carol Anne: Blond little girl who seems to have lots of connections to the spirit realm.
- Robbie: Little boy of the family. Attacked by his own braces, but lives.
- Taylor: Native American spiritual guide who helps the family to make peace with the apparitions. Gets a torn up station wagon for his help.
- Gramma Jess: Has a special bond with Carol Anne, and continues to talk to her even after she dies.
- Kane: Creepy old ghost who hangs around the home. (see above pic) CREEPY!

Random Thoughts and Things Learned
- Talk about having skeletons in your closet!
- I don't know what makes this guy creepier. The fact he's a ghost or that he dresses like a Mormon.
- That's gonna be one hell of an orthodontist bill!
- I'd still have trouble takeing help from someone who looks like one of the Village People.
