Scarecrow
A troubled teen is tragicly killed and then becomes a scarecrow on the rampage. This straight to video flick left a lot to be desired in the acting and editing department. In fact the general production seemed far below par. The storyline was pretty basic, and the only redeemable value was the pure cheesiness of the killer scarecrow and his one-liners. The creativity in weapon choice was decent too. But if you want more Scarecrow 'bang' for your buck, see Night of the Scarecrow or Scarecrows. 2 out of 5.
Characters:
- Lester: Teen boy who looks like he's 30. Anyway, he has a crappy family, gets picked on a lot, and never gets the girl. Dies and his soul infests a screcrow. You can guess what happens next.
- Judie: New girl, who is pretty much the only decent person in the flick. So she lives.
- Greg: A bully who gets dragged away and presumed dead.
- Stephanie: All I can remember about this chick is she had bright red hair. I don't think she contributed much. With a killer sack of straw around, I wouldn't either.
- Morgan: Judy's friend. Yeah, Judy's friend. You want more details? Tough.... cause I can't think of any more.
- Ken: Another bully who gets corn cobbs to the head.
The Totals:
- Body Count: 16
- Weapons Used: A pole, a bat, a rock, corn cobbs, a scythe, bacon grease, a pan, a grill, a shovel, a stick, a truck, and gasoline.
- Breast Shots: 0
- Moments where characters are mysteriously unable to run from certain death: 1
- Thunderstorms: 3
