The Crawlers
Some toxic waste gets dumped into the woods and it mutates roots into killer mutant roots... I guess. A pretty terrible movie. Bad acting, effects, story, characters, and everything else. Very litle gore, but a nice flow of dead bodies. Plus if the roots are so deadly, where are the trees that they're attached to?! And the 'helicopter crash' was a toy. 1.5 out of 5.
Characters:
- Josie: Girl who returns home to her family, her ex-boyfriend, and mutant killer roots.
- Matt: Josie's idiot ex-boyfriend who she reunites with.
- Taylor: Drunk who works at the local power plant. Nice. Strangled with roots.
- Sheriff: Asshole crooked cop who gets killed by roots.
- Paula: Town hooker who has an overdramatic death via roots.
- Brian: Grandson of one of the victims. Genius deemed as a coward, who defeats the roots with bulldozers rather than shovels, like the other so-called 'heros.'
- Jack: Gas statio attendant who gets killed by roots.
- Susan: Chic who was just drifting through the town. Drifts into the deadly roots instead.
- David: Josie's brat brother who likes plants. Realllllly annoying.
- Bob: Matt's dad and helecopet piolet. Killed in an explosion.
- Kruger: Evil power plant dude who covers up the nuclear waste thing. Shots himself in the head.
