They Live
Ah, another John Carpenter gem. Overall, I'm not a big fan of his, but there are a half a dozen of his flicks that are really good. They mood and story of this film was very unique, and had a really creepy vibe to it. I liked the whole alien mind control idea, because they did it right. I also like the suddeness and unpredictability of the plot. 4.5 out of 5.

- Nada: A drifter who stumbles onto a pair of nifty sunglasss that allows him to see aleins. Shot.
- Frank: Construction worker who likes to wear purple and who befriends Nada. He should've choose his friends more carefully. Shot in the head.
- Holly: Woman who Nada takes as a hostage and who ebds up being an alien loyalist. Shot.
- Drifter: Old man who joins the aliens.
- Gilbert: Man who tries to lead a group of people against the aliens. Killed.
