Chicken Crispy's Top 10 Vampire Movies

1. The Lost Boys

This movie is a classic. It has that really cool 80s vibes and a kick ass cast, strong soundtrack, and all the other elements needed for a great vampire flick.

2. Near Dark

Another 80s vampire movie that worked. We have some really cool characters here that we care about from the get go. Lots of gore, humor, and really good directing makes this one a must see.

3. Interview With The Vampire

An amazing cast with Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Kirsten Dunst, and Christian Sltater. Anne Rice was upset about Cruise playing Lestat but I cant see anyone else playing Lestat. He did a great job. This movie has a much different spin on the vampire genre. This flick focuses on the sad parts of being a vampire. Damn, I thought it’d kick ass to be a vampire before this flick came along

4. Fright Night

Just a plain fun vampire flick. Another 80s vampire flick that gets it right. This movie just has a great setting. The whole movie borders on cheesy but oddly enough it works to its advantage.

5. Bram Stoker’s Dracula

The best movie of the infamous Count Dracula. This movie may not be heavy in effects, but that is because it does not need any. This movie shows how it all began.

6. From Dusk Till Dawn

Great mix of action and humor. This movie has the most different feel from all the other vampire movies on the list. Written and co-stared by Quentin Tarantino. This movie has enough violence, gore, and tits to satisfy any vampire fan.

7. Vampires

The vampires in this movie are not moody or erotic as in most other vampire films. These vampires are more in your face. This movie has the most realistic raw feel to it. This movie also does a good job of explaining why vampires hate crosses and holy water.

8. Blade

Blade works at a fast paste with great action and effects. Wesley Snipes makes one cool ass looking vampire with his cool outfit, sunglasses, and assortment of weapons. The sequel is really good as well, but it does not offer much more than this one does.

9. Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Much more light than the TV series. This movie goes more for the comedy. This movie is always fun to watch. Even if you do not like the movie itself, you will get a kick out of seeing a young David Arquette and Ben Affleck before they made it big.

10. Dracula 2000

This movie took a beating from most critics. I enjoyed this flick a lot for its slick visuals. It may not have much depth to it, but it does not pretend to be deep neither. Leave your brain at the door, grab some popcorn and have a fun time with this one!

Grab a cup of blood and quench your thirst with these great vampire flicks. Brought To You By Chicken Crispy.
