Wrong Turn

Seven people find themselves stranded on a remote dirt road in the middle of the woods. They go looking for a ride or a phone and instead find thewmselves being savagly hunted by deranged rednecks. This movie reminded me of a less scary Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The death scenes were somewhat creative, but at the smae time seemed uneventful. You could see them coming a mile way. The gore was up too par, with limbs being severed and chomped from the dead character's bodies. I liked the atmophere for the most part, especially the graveyard for the blood-spattered vehicles of past victims. A very nice touch. And you can't go wrong with body parts chilling in the fridge. The acting was nothing special, but there was some nice clothed eye candy for the guys. 3 out of 5.
