Start of the 2005/06 season...in boistrous spirits

An army of us went to see the home game against West Ham in April 2004....The "family" were all Hammers fans....shame they lost 2-0!!
Above, standing behind Simon with the same grey jacket he has sported for 25 years is a RFC legend....I give you Mr Paul Black.
From the early days of coach travel, he has been spotted at pretty much every away game we've been to.....which of course led to the infamous "Paul Black bet". Five of your English pounds for whoever is fortune enough to see, with witnesses the aforementioned, provided that the sighting is outside the vicinity of Reading. Ah, yes the golden moments...Bradford away for 20 pounds, Coventry away where I sat next to the man himself and discussed meat pies...

Reading Football Club have been part of my life for 25 years.I was there when Robin Friday scored THAT goal.I missed the Simod Cup Final because I was in Taiwan but I saw the 1st Division play off final with Bolton.
Hey, my daughter's middle name is Lee after Lee Nogan who scored the opening goal that day.
