Philosophy Radio does not contain any audio lectures.
However,
I have been asked about them, so I created this brief list of websites
where
you can find downloadable lectures in mp3 or realaudio format.
The University of Tasmania’s philosophy department has an impressive
collection
of audio lectures, including
lectures
given to first year students, a
course
on logic and another on
Reasoning
Skills. They have also made lectures from their
History
of Philosophy and
Philosophy
of Psychology available on the web.
Hubert Dreyfus, a professor at the university of Berkeley has lectures
on
Heidegger's
Being and Time,
Literature
and Film and
Merleau-Ponty's
Phenomenology of Perception. His colleague at Berkeley, J.M.
Bernstein,
has lectures on
Hegel's
Phenomenology of Spirit.
Furthermore, the
Academy of
Christian
Apologetics has a number of
lectures on philosophy
available
in realaudio. Some lectures on ethics can be found
here
Boxmind has
lectures from a
number
of eminent philosophers, though a subscription fee is required.
This is list by no means comprehensive, and was assembled after a quick
google search. If I've missed any
lectures,
please do
e-mail and tell
me.
