Through My Eyes (Part 1): HER

She marks her calendar,
Square by square,
Counting the days,
That he’s still there.
Every night before bed,
And at dawn when she wakes,
She prays to her Lord,
To present to him thanks.
She loves this boy,
Til death do they part.
He is the most importance,
In this young girl’s heart.
She cannot sense,
How she would live,
Without the perpetual,
Adoration of him.
Talk about marriage,
Amongst her and her friends,
Launches untold prospect,
Toward the distant ends.
She waits by his locker,
Wishing him near.
When he neglects to arrive,
Down strolls a tear.
They’ve been together so long,
She’s matured deeper into love.
In her opinion, she’s never,
In his company enough.
For the rest of their lives,
She expects to be together.
Love cannot be conquered,
So it lingers forever.
One day when this girl,
Sits lonely at home,
She decides to write him,
A letter like poem.
She wants him to realize,
It’s him that she needs.
Depicted in a poem,
The note she writes reads;
Dearest Honey,
I just wanted to say,
That I thought about you,
Again, all day.
I know that you love me,
And I love you to death.
I crave to be with you,
Until the last of my breath.
If you and I split up,
I don’t think I could take it.
Seriously, baby,
I’m not sure I’d make it.
We grew up as friends,
It soon became more.
You are the one,
That I live my life for.
Sometimes you are distant,
Always with good reason,
I understand,
You need to be your own person.
I give you freedom,
You treat me the best.
Baby, we’ve passed,
Every possible test.
It’s so clearly obvious,
That we’re meant to be.
My love for you,
Yours for me.
While I was sitting,
By myself tonight,
I thought of you,
And what I should write.
With this perceptible fait,
I leave you with this,
Of a thousand hugs,
And a million a kiss.
Write me back,
What’s in your brain.
Sincerely yours,
Your girlfriend, Jane.
