Great White Shark's VS. Orca's

There are some things that you need to take into prespective to anwser this question. Which would win in a fight, the Great White or the Killer Whale? The first thing you need to take into consideration is size. A great white can grow up to about 20 feet. An orca can grow up to about 25 feet. An orca whale weighs from 3-5 tons. A great white weighs from 2-3 tons.
I think killer whales are the more wussier species because they hunt in faimly groups and arent usually solitary hunters while great whites usually hunt alone. If the situation that a killer whale was alone and lost it's way from it's pod and encountered a hungry great white shark, let's just say both the orca and the white were both the same size, about 20 feet the animals would probably avoid each other. But if a fight between the animals occurred, the orca would not stand a chance. The great white shark is fast and the great white usually attacks from below. The oversized dolphin would not even see the shark coming. The shark would slam into the orca with it's powerful jaws before the orca even knew what hit him! An orca whale could not fight the great white on it's own. The shark is highly evolved and highly equipped to take out large marine mammles. The orca is not evolved enough to take out such a deadly creature on it's own. It is possible that a group of killer whales could kill a full grown great white, but it wouldn't be a fair fight.

I do believe the Great White could whip any animals ass in the water.

I saw a web site that has footage of an orca whale killing a great white. I watched the video clip and I have to say the footage was the biggest load of bullsh%& I have ever seen on the internet. The whale that killed the shark was full grown and the shark was only a 10 foot juvenile. The full grown whale only attacked the shark because the shark went after the whale's calf. it wasn't even a fair fight. The whale was bigger.

Great Whites regularly feed on dolphins (such as the bottle-nose) and are fast enough to catch a dolphin smaller than an orca. I would imagine that a smaller more stremelined dolphin swims faster than an orca. Great whites have no problem catching faster dolphins so what makes you think the shark couldn't catch a bigger slower one? Also sharks have an electrical sense which enables them to detect the smallest of electrical currents given off by all living things in their surroundings so the great white would know the orca was there. Also did you know that orcas (and all dolphins and whales for a matter of fact) have ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE OF SMELL!!! The shark has the advantage there and may even smell the orca coming. The great white has sharper teeth than the orca. The shark would attack form below and rip a huge chunck of flesh off the orca and leave it to bleed to death before returning to the carcass for more.

Now, I know all you orca fans are probably going to have a go at me for putting up this page, so if you want to bitch and moan at me about this you can submit your comments to the pole or if your gutzy enough you can drop me a line.
