Progressive industrial-rock band Synchro Nine Factor played the New Brookland Tavern on February 17, 2000. Although the audience was small, all in attendance were in awe following the performance.

Synchro Nine Factor played most of the songs from their debut CD "Right Wing Conspiracy." During an interview prior to the show, they mentioned that in addition to a music performance they would also have a visual performance.

This performance consisted of a slide show behind the band. The pictures gave an added dimension to the feeling of the songs, although a few seemed very odd and almost out of place. Good lighting effects also added to the energy of their sound.

Synchro Nine Factor roared during the performance. Unfortunately, the bass level was a little too high, overpowering the vocals, but this is a frequent occurence at the New Brookland Tavern.

The best song performances came to "Probing the Species," "7:06," and an astounding cover of "In the Air Tonight."

After the show the band met with the audience. One member from the Betty Ford Experience, who Synchro Nine Factor was opening for, told Synchro Nine Factor "We should've opened for you."

I am looking forward to seeing Synchro Nine Factor again in the fall when they are finished working on a remix album. Their performances are not to be missed.
