Long tail pair phase inverter. The low side of the input is grounded. The high side goes through a 0.1 mike cap to the grid of triode 1 in a 12 A X 7. A 470 k ohm resistor goes from this grid to point A. The cathodes of both triodes connect together and go through a 470 ohm res to point A. The plate of triode 1 goes through a 68 k ohm resistor to plus 400 volts. The plate of triode 2 goes through a 68 k ohm then a 3.3 k ohm to plus 400 volts. The grid of triode 2 connects through a 470 k ohm res to point A. This grid also connects through a 0.1 mike cap to ground. Point A connects through a 47 k ohm res to ground. Each plate connects through its own 0.1 mike cap to an output terminal. There are two terminals labeled output. Each output terminal goes through its own 470 k ohm resistor to ground. The legend in this figure is as follows. V o = 17 volts, t h d 1 = 0.32 percent. t h d 2 = 0.31 percent. v o = 25 volts, t h d 1 = 0.79 percent. t h d 2 = 0.78 percent. Gain = 26. F sub 2 = 350 k c.
