Southern California Regional - Posted by Josh on 04/04/04
Sorry for the long time to update, but we're back from the Southern California Regional! I must say, the competition was excellent. We had various mechanical problems throughout the event, as well as some with programming and control. Nonetheless, we were able to seed in 28th place of the 57 teams that participate in the event. We even held second and third place for quite some time. The complete match results and qualifier rankings will be posted on our site soon. We were not picked to go the the final rounds, but the team had a great time in the stands, and all of the finals were great. We would like to thank all of our alliance partners; teams 207, 851, 815, 1136, 980, 314, and 634. We would like to congratulate teams 69, 980, and 314 the Regional Champions. We were allied with all three of these teams during our Practice Rounds and Qualification Matches, and can personally testify to their skill. We would also like to thank congratualte 294, the Regional Chairman's Award winners, and finally congratulations Lancaster High School, team 399, for being picked to go to the final rounds. Good luck at the Championships in Atlanta!

Even though the Southern California Regional is over, the season certainly is not. We will be working on many projects before next year, and we will hopefully participate in the scrimmage on May 20th in San Diego and the SCRRF Fall Classic.
