Straight from Fred - "We had a last minute invite to record at a swank studio in NYC on Sunday. We pulled together a new version of Colors on the Inside for the session. We think it came out great! Not sure yet where you will be able to hear it but I'll let you know the minute it's available. We'll be playing Kennett Square this Saturday. We just got a large shipment of merch which includes 2 new shirt designs and hoodies! The Merch Direct store will be up shortly with all of that. Cannon is still doing well and we are looking forward to the support tour in May/June/July, infinity" I'll let you know more as I hear it. Also, I got bored, slipped in some Piebald, and added a page for Pictures so check them out. Only five on there right now but they aint too shabby! Check back soon for more BP and website news !

OK, not much new in the world of BP, just kind of website stuff. I get bored and will probably do a new update everytime I add something so for the ones who don't come here often, I added an old news page where you can read any news that you may have missed. I also added a new Interview in the Media section so check it out, it's pretty good. Also, I am going to totally re-do the links section so it may be messed up for a couple of days. Until next time....

Ok, Breaking Pangaea news first. Big stuff happening for them. First they are planning a tour for the summer where they will get to hit everywhere from Florida to California so that's cool. Second, they are in this month's Alternative Press so everyone check that out. They are also featured on the free CD that comes with CMJ magazine. It features 'Wedding Dress' as I remember but check it out cause I could be wrong. Anyway, I'mm off on a 9 hour drive from Dayton to Philly tomarrow so i need sleep. Oh yeah, I also added Clint's bio so check it out. Later

Ok, first off, I know this isn't really BP related but I want to send my deepest sympathys to anyone who was affected by the death of Layne Staley, lead singer from Alice In Chains. I was a huge AIC fan and thought Layne Stanley was an amazing talent. He will be missed. In web page news, I am slowly re-fixing my discography page.

Anyway, incase you havent heard yet, FRED'S A DADDY !! I want to wish him and his wife the best of luck with their little girl. Also, BP will be starting their tour soon so keep checking the Shows section for dates.

Not to much news going on except for that BP is starting their Summer Tour on June 13 (making their triumphant return to Dayton, OH). I figured since there is no BP news as of late, I would ramble on about some other bands and CD's I have been into lately. Firstly, if anyone likes Mike Patton, check out Tomahawk. They are unbelievable and they will be going on tour with Tool this summer. Mike Patton is one of my musical heros so I'm kind of bias but check them out. I have also found myself fond of the new Grade CD "Headfirst Straight To Hell" once again. I forgot how good this band is. From Autumn To Ashes new CD "Too Bad You're Beautiful" rocks too. I love the drummers voice and the last song with Mealine (sp) from One Fine Truth, ohhhh its beauty. This isn't really a new CD but Catharsis/Newborn split has had some massive play too. I wish Newborn would release something new because I love them. On the lighter side, Taking Back Sunday and the new Rocking Horse Winner are really good. Fred has got me into this Sunny Day Real Estate/Coheed and Cambria thing lately. I guess the high voices are similar? I don't know, I'll shut up. Go chek the Shows section to see if BP's going to be near you and tell them how much they rock.

BP Taking the Hip Hop World By Storm !! "We were set to play the after-party for Pink in Atlanta tonight. You know, that singer/rapper from MTV. Yeah, it was a sold out show and the plan was that the moment she finished playing we start playing in another room and people stick around and hang out. Well, we loaded in, it was great, the radio stations were there, people outside dressed in pink, lots of action going on. So i was driving around looking to park the van and Will calls on my phone, "We're soundchecking in 10 minutes hurry up," "Cool, I'll be there". One minute later he calls again, "uh, Pink is in the hospital with bronchitus, no Pink show". Man, this is just our luck, but I'm not sure whether i care or not. We wound up playing a lot earlier. We played for all these couples who had the perfect night planned and wound up rocking out to us. You can imagine the average Pink fan, but anyway it was a really good time." - Fred
