These pictures were taken July 26, 2002 - the day I rescued this turtle. I started treating him for shell rot. He is completly out of the water, but gets 3 - 1/2 hour soaks a day to hydrate. After he is done soaking I scrub his shell with Betadine. I ordered Novalsan and had to wait for it to arrive. I started using it on August 1st. When his shell is dry, I use a blunt tool to scrape away the white part of the shell, and then apply Polysporin at night.
