There once was this piece of land with a gaping hole in the middle. It was a nice piece of property, but no one wants to buy it because of the hole. They say the grass is greener in someone else's yard. They never bother to fill the hole.

The property goes neglected and no one seems to care. It's shunned, even though the prettiest things grow there. One day this man comes along and sees the potential in this land. He buys it.

But instead of filling the hole and rennovating the property, he burns it down. Now exists this charred acre with a big hole inside it. The man is to lazy to level the land, so he abandons it.

Time goes by and the land starts to replenish itself. It's green again, and with a little rain and sunshine, the land is beautiful again. But the hole is still there. Sometime later, another man purchases the land.

He drives his pickup truck all over the land, turning the hole into a jump and unrooting all the vegitation. Soon, he too becomes bored with the property and abandons it as well.

For the next several months, it rains. Slowly but surely the rain causes the ground to shift and mud to fill the once gigantic hole. Daisies begin to grow where there were once roses. The land is the most beautiful it has ever been. It's fufilled. At last, a young man comes to the beautiful field. He sings songs and writes poetry. Soon enough, everyone wants this piece of property, the same people who had shunned it for many years.

The moral of the story is this... when something isn't perfect, many people don't want to work to make it better. This is true in many aspects. All it takes is that one special person to turn the shunned into the desired.
