| considered to be the best album by tool, ænima should be on anyone's list of favorite albums. it's tool's great masterpiece (until lateralus). this album is terrific because of it's experimental sound. everything flows smoothly, even though when compared to undertow, it doesn't seem like the same band. the lyrics are brilliant, and intelligently spoken. the concept is no less than perfect. the fact that it's perfect for any dissociative adventure is hands-down wonderful. if anyone wants to take a step into their own brain, they should listen to this album. |
