Frozen Heart
On a mission to Ravaan, the capital planet of the galaxy, my ship was attacked and we crashed on the ice planet of Objen. With our communication equipment destroyed and our ship damaged beyond compare, we were stranded. We soon realized that we were not alone on the ice planet, our enemies were also on Objen.
At first we thought that they were looking for us, but they were looking for the Frozen Heart, a large ruby cut in the shape of a heart. The legend was that if the heart would ever be broken the whole world would instantly die. Many scientists believed that if the heart were cut open, some kind of disease would be released. We quickly realized that if the disease was handled properly it would be genetically duplicated and them distributed through the whole galaxy.
We used all the equipment that had survived the crash to track down the heart. We discovered that there were tunnels under the ice, using anything we could find, we dug down under layers of ice and snow till we reached the ice tunnels.
Being at a disadvantage we had to be careful to not attack attention. Most of our weapons were destroyed in the crash. Many days we explored the tunnels, going deeper under the surface, getting closer to the heart of the planet.
Seeing the heart is quite a site, I shall never forget. It was floating in the middle of some kind of gel substances. The gel was formed in a ball; it floated in mid air. This was possible, because equal forces of air were shooting from above it and below it.
No sooner had we entered the room, when our enemies found the heart as well. Since they had no idea we were on the planet, they were stunned to see us there, so we took that as an advantage. We knocked them all unconscious, and took their weapons and devices. I stuck my hand into the gel ball and closed my fingers around the cold gem; another group of out enemies entered but we shot them down. I pulled the Frozen Heart and we left.
Using the uniforms of our enemies we entered their camp and stole a space ship. We picked up the rest of the crew and stuff at the site of the ship wreaked, and then we finally got to go home.
