Mutant Water

Before Sachae and her father, Ken joined the rebellion the two were working for the government of the planet Aastond. They were working on an experiment called Project Mutant Water. They were developing genetically engineered humans with superpowers. These mutants would be unstoppable if they were to be released in the galaxy. Totally rapped up in the scientific aspects of the project Ken and Sachae didn't realize the danger that they were creating. When they finally realized they tried to destroy the projects but they had made them too powerful, Ken and Sachae had to flee Aastond for their lives. The mutants took control of the planet and whipped out all other life. The mutants have now had several years to multiply and grow stronger. The point of my story is that it is an introductory of what happened a couple of weeks ago. About a month ago the mutants attacked Cafandine and completely took over. Feeling responsible for the mutants, Ken and Sachae raced off to see it they the mutant's creators, could bargain with them. Of course I had no desire to lose two of my best fighters, took a team and went after them. Now that I look back on it, it was rather foolish risking the exposure of the rebellion just for two people. We lost two ships trying to get through the mutant's barricade, but our modified cruiser the Shark easily made it through. Apparently Ken and Sachae had been quickly admitted by the mutants when their identity had been discovered. I am now very much ashamed to say that I personally killed over twenty mutants trying to get to Ken and Sachae, I didn't know then that they were actually safe. I leveled my blaster at a control panel the door slid open, Ken and Sachae spun around and stared as about ten of us ran into the room. "Game's over!" I said coldly leveling my blaster at the led mutant. "Give them up or die!" "Sorry about this," the mutant sighed, a wave of electricity shot from his fingers, I doubled over in pain. Orion burst forward and shot at the mutant, the leader dissolved each blast with electricity. "Wasn't Cafandine an enemy planet, your Highness" He asked crouching down beside me on the floor, his name was Tantus. Suddenly I understood, "did you have to kill all those people?" I managed to prop up on an elbow, my muscles still twitched. "You did not kill them," Tantus looked shocked, "rumors twist in odd ways. We have merely put them in secure facilities." "Why than did you try and stop us from landing, and put up a fight when we were trying to get here." I was rapidly recovering and was now standing on my wobbly legs. "We did not yet realize who you were," Tantus apologized. "As the leader of Mutant Water, I would like to offer our assistance in your fight against the Empire." I was utterly speechless; this had been the last thing I expected. "Of course...Tantus, I would be delighted to have Mutant Water's help." That was basically the end of that "adventure". Many in the rebellion do not like the presence of Mutant Water, but Sachae, Ken and I are positively delighted. Orion is among the ones who would rather not have their help. Guess we can't all have what we won't.

The Shark, they well put together ship that made it through the Mutant's barricade.
