After my father died, I got an E-mail which I very much wanna share with you:
I Share Your Sorrow
I'd like to bring you comfort
for your sorrow,
joy for your sadness,
peace for your heaviness...
but I know only God can ease the pain of your loss,
for I, too, have known the grief of a loved one's departure.
I share in your sorrow...
but also, I share in the joy of knowing
that the pain does ease eventually.
That's not to say that tears
will be held in check for it is the little things
that God brings to remembrance
that fill our eyes anew.
The shedding of tears is like the cleansing of a wound
so healing can take place.
One day the flowers will bloom...
and the grass will grow...
and we will wake up refreshed and jubilant
with love and peace reigning in our heart again.
As God walks with you in the valley,
He will renew Hope and bring you Peace.
I know...because God never leaves us alone.
He is our strength when our strength has waned,
our joy when sorrow clouds a sunny day,
and our eternal Light to assure us that
He Is Always With Us...
carrying us when we are encumbered with weakness,
comforting us when the grief is overwhelming,
and loving us when we feel utterly lost and afraid.
May His love permeate every part of your being,
and may today you look to heaven
and feel the joy of our Lord stir in your heart once more.
Nehemiah 8:10
Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
