Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young

Coming from other bands, David Crosby [ex-Byrds], Stephen Stills [ex-Bufallo Springfield], Graham Nash [ex-Hollies] and, later, Neil Young [ex-Bufallo Springfield] created a smooth, vivid sound with intricate harmonies and superior writing. The original trio [sans Young] performed their first public gig in fron of half a million fans at the real Woodstock. It is where they debuted "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" -- three musicians, three guitars, three stools and the multitude.
