Super Bowl For Cold Weather Climates

Okay, fellow NFL fans, here's the problem as I see it. For as long as as any of us can recall, the most anticipated football event of the year, the Super Bowl, has only been held in warm weather climates. This is because the NFL dislikes the idea of having the players conduct a game in a climate that is not conducive to warm weather.

Now, let me ask all of you something, do we all remember some of those classic snowy championship games in Buffalo? Or the controversial Raiders/Pats game just a few years back? If snow is good enough for championship games, it should be even better for the BOWL game.

This is saying nothing against our fellow football fans who have lives in the warm weather areas, However, do we "snowy" football fans not put as much support into the NFL every single year of our lives as they do? Do we not do whatever we can to promote interest in the sport, such as watching the games on TV, attend the games themselves, purchase the NFL-related products such as t-shirts, baseball caps, assorted memorabilia, etc? Do we not all share our love for football with our kids and do our part to continue interests in this great sport across the generations?

Now, in lieu of all of the above, doesn't our home towns across the continent also deserve to share in the economic advantages that come with a Super Bowl being held in our area? Considering what the entire fan base put's into the NFL every year to make it what it is, should we be shorted any of the benefits that come with being a football fan? Should such benefits be limited to the fans who live in a warm weather climate only? It's time that those of us who live and work in the colder climate areas should do something about it, and to have the NFL give us the consideration that it's always given to its fan base in the warmer climes. In an attempt to rectify this unfair situation, I'm proposing that we start a petition to have the NFL agree to no longer limit holding the Super Bowls in warm climate parts of the continent only. But in order to make this bid a success, I'm going to need the support of every NFL fan who would like to see the Super Bowl held in cold as well as warm weather climate areas. This is how it's going to work.

I'M ASKING EACH OF YOU TO SEND YOUR FULL NAME AND ACTIVE EMAIL ADDRESS TO THE FOLLOWING ADDRESS SNOWYSUPERBOWL@AOL.COM, AS THIS WILL SERVE AS AN ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE.
You may include comments with your name and e-mail address if you want. Please put VOTE in the subject line. Upon collecting the signatures, I'll see to it that the NFL is aware of this situation and how many of their fans want to see a change in the way they do things regarding the Super Bowl. We need as many signatures as we can get.

Thanks in advance,

Joe P
