IMPORTANT NEWS

The Surgery website has been given approval from the Presidential Office to add this article for Members and the general public. Our President (in the most recent photograph to date above) has been recommended to have an M.R.I Scan on the 4th August 2007. This has been in response to a series of intense and quite severe temple/head pains he has experienced over the last year and a half. Loyal Surgery Committee Members will recall that the President was very unwell in 2003 and issued much medication as a result. The Presidents doctor is now suggesting that the President's brain may have been damaged by the issuing of such quantities of anti-depressant/anti-anxiety medication over a two year period. Members are advised to not concern themselves too much at this stage. The President's brain will be scanned to investigate this issue and his doctor has indicated that he wishes him to see a neurologist for further tests. The President was tested for Parkinsons diesese in 2005, this was the last time it was recommended for an M.R.I. Scan. This proved negative. The President is positive at this time, despite having time from his paid employment as a waiter. Information will be posted on this website as soon as possible regarding the outcome of the M.R.I. Scan - the President welcomes enquires on this subject to: surgerypres@hotmail.co.uk
