Ahhh..Thursday. Seems like I've loved that band forever. But in reality, it's only been a few months. They've always come first in my book though; before any other bands that I still listen to today. Before AFI. I've been into Thursday since late 2002 also, just like AFI, but I didn't develop a love for AFI like I did for Thursday. Thursday was the band that really got me up off my ass and out into the real world. I began not to give a shit because of this band. But that was such a great thing. Geoff writes such great lyrics; they've had such a great impact on me and my life. They have helped me a lot. All those nights when I could count on their music to lift me up. I was such a disaster sometimes. If you just sit there, listening to their music, the sound...the words that come out of Geoff's mouth..just really sit there and listen to that, dig deep, don't be lazy..really think about it, and you might understand. You might not. Everyone is diffferent. Maybe they won't be that meaningful to you. Maybe you're thinking that I'm an idiot, because you've heard their music and read their lyrics and they mean nothing to you. They mean lots to me.
