One Soul

One Soul: God is One, Religions are many

A collection of quotes which point to the oneness of the experience of God in ALL traditions.

Last updated 11/28/2010

On the soul level, we all know the eternal truth - God is one, religions are many.
It is only the human mind that separates and factionalizes us
socially. Behind the human mind is the Supreme Soul of boundless love,
joy, and bliss. The breath of life breathes through all people, all cultures and all traditions.
Honor the breath of life in everyone and everything you meet.
What is the breath of life? Read the following quotations. Then, use the inspiration
of the quotations to practice the presence of the One Love in your daily life. Practice is
the only way to know the breath of life and the One Love.

That's it for propaganda. The rest of the site is all quotations
from around the world.

Now... The Quotes!

The first few quotations are from Jesus in the Gospel of Thomas, which was discovered long
after the bible was assembled. They were written in Coptic by "gnostic" groups of early christians who lost the first
christian political infighting battle and have been denounced as heathens ever since.
These are translations from various scholars.

On the day when you were one, you became two; but when
you have become two, what will you do?

-Jesus

When you make the two one, and when you make the inner as the outer
and the outer as the inner, and the above as the below, and when you make the male and female into
a single one, so that the male will not be male, and the female not be female...
then you shall enter the Kingdom.

-Jesus (editor's note: in his native tongue, aramaic, he would have said "Queendom")

Cleave a piece of wood, I am there, lift up a stone and I am there, also.

-Jesus

The images are visible to humanity, but the light within them is hidden
in the image of the light of the Father. This light reveals itself, but the real image is hidden
by this light.

-Jesus

When you make the two into one, you shall become sons of man, and when you say "mountain, be moved",
it will be moved.

-Jesus

So turn your face and your purpose toward the primordial religion of the upright (hanif)
- the original nature in which the One created all humanity. Let there be
no change in this ancient, self-sustaining religion, created by the Only Being,
which is the standard (qayyim) of all religions. But most among humanity do not understand.

-Quran (Sura 30: 30), translated by Neil Douglas-Klotz from Arabic.

Separate yourself from all twoness. Be one in one, one with one, one from one.

-Meister Eckhart

Between God and the soul there is no between.

-Julian of Norwich

I am like a pitcher of clay floating in the water, water inside, water outrside.
Now suddenly with a touch of the guru the pitcher is broken. Inside, outside,
O Friends, all one.

-Kabir

O, Friend, Kabir has looked for him everywhere, but to no avail. For Kabir and
He are one, not two. When a drop is merged into the ocean how is it seen as distinct? When
the ocean is submerged in the drop, who can say what is what?

-Kabir

My self is God, nor is any other self known to me except God.

-Catherine of Genoa

The day of my spiritual awakening was the day I saw and knew I saw all things in
God and God in all things

-Mechtild of Magdeburg

"It is the greatest of all lessons to know oneself.
For if one knows oneself one will know God, and knowing God,
that person will be made like God."

-Clement of Alexandria (c. 150-215)

I killed Yogananda long ago. No one dwells in this temple now but God.

-Paramahansa Yogananda, referring to his bodily temple

(The inner self is) the soil in which God has sown his likeness and image
and in which he sows the good seed,
the roots of all wisdom, all skills, all virtues, all goodness - the seed of the divine nature
(2 Peter 1:4). The seed of the divine nature is God's Son, the word of God (Luke 8: 11).

-Meister Eckhart

The Father and I are one.

-Jesus (John 10:30)

The Spirit of God has made its home in you

-Paul (Romans 8:9)

The Queendom of Alaha (God - Aramaic, meaning "Divine Unity", "The One with no opposite",
"The One Being", all of these to Aramaic speaking people of that time) is within/among you.

-Yeshua (Jesus), from the Peshitta Gospels, written in Jesus's native tongue, Aramaic.

Divinity is the enfolding and unfolding of everything that is.
Divinity is in all things in such a way that all things are in Divinity.

-Nicholas of Cusa, 15th century Catholic Cardinal

The Enlightenment's quest of the historical Jesus was made possible,
and made necessary, when Enlightenment
philosophy deposed the Cosmic Christ.

-Jaruslav Pelikan, Lutheran scholar

The third nature of Christ (neither human nor divine, but cosmic)-
has not noticeably attracted the explicit
attention of the faithful or of theologians.

-Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master.
Inquire from him submissively and render service unto him.
The self-realized soul can impart knowledge unto you and when you have thus learned the truth,
you will know that all living
beings are but a part of Me - and that they are in Me, and are Mine.

-Krishna (Bhaghavad Gita Ch. 4: 34-35)

I am in the Father and you in me and I in you.

-Jesus

When it dawned on me some thirty-five years ago that man was 'God' embodied, one of the
first things I sought to understand was what Jesus knew that made him the greatest spiritual
healer of all time. I thought that there must be something written on this subject
but I did not know where to look. At this time I was employed as an automobile salesman. Less
than a month after I realized that this was indeed the truth; an elderly lady came onto
the car lot. She said she had a couple of books at her home that might interest me and
the next day brought me two books. *What is mine is thine,* (book 1 and 2) by Murdo
McDonald Bayne. I never saw this lady before and I have never seen her since. When I look back
on it now, I know that this was more than a mere coincidence. I was meant to have them.
Other books by the author are still available ... these two however, are out
of print. They have been a great inspiration to me. They gave me my first insights and
understanding into Spiritual Healing.

Everything I have written has been written for the express purpose of lifting you
out of your present belief; that you are nothing more than a mere man, into an
awareness of your real relationship to God ... into a consciousness of Oneness ...
that state of mind which every saint and holy man that has ever lived, has sought
to attain. It is in that state of mind that God intended every 'man' to live.
You are much more than this 'person' that you now believe yourself to be.
You are an individual manifestation of God! You are to God ... what a wave is to
the ocean ... what a branch is to the vine. You are just as much the presence of God,
as a wave is the presence of the ocean or as a branch is the presence
of the vine. LITERALLY!
The entire book is dedicated to the promotion of the Allness of God,
the Oneness of God, and to the nothingness of any other thing!

-Robert A. Clark , (my 'outer' identity)

The Jews answered Him, saying, "For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy,
and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God." Jesus answered them
"Is it not written in your law, 'I said, "You are gods"'?

-(John 10: 33-34)

God becomes man in order that man might become God.

-Bhagavad Gita

When there is a union of love, it is accurate to affirm that the beloved lives
in the lover and the lover lives in the beloved. Love causes such similarity and
transformation in the lovers that one can say that each one is the other and both of them are one.

-St. John of the Cross (Spiritual Songs 12:7)

He who sees everything as nothing but the Self, and the Self in everything he sees,
such a seer withdraws from nothing.
For the enlightened, all that exists is nothing but the Self, so how could any suffering
or delusion continue for those who know this oneness?

-Isha Upanishad, sloka 6 (The Upanishads are ancient Indian Scriptures)

We are One
We are one in the Goddess,
We are one, We are one...
We are one in the Hunter,
We are one, We are one.

One in the Spirit of the Earth,
One in the Spirit of the Sky,
One in the Spirit of the Oceans around us...
One in the Spirit of the Fire.

-Wiccan Chant

First there is Brahman, Lord of all, with whom is the Word,
and the Word, verily, is Brahman.

-Rig Veda (The Vedas are also ancient Indian scriptures)

In the beginning was the word. The word was with God and the word was God.

-(John 1:1)

At the core of all stirs the hidden pulse of Brahman. It is the heart of everything
- all that moves or breathes or blinks.
That which is both Being and non-Being, the goal of all desiring, beyond all
understanding. Know that, my friend, to be the quintessence of life.

-Mundaka Upanishad

In this analogy, we see all mind-body activity above the paper and the hidden
field of intelligence below. The iron filings moving around are mind-body activity, automatically
aligning with the magnetic field, which is intelligence. The field is completely invisible
and unknowable until it shows its hand by moving some bits of matter around. And the
piece of paper? It is the quantum mechanical body (Editor's note: this term is roughly
defined in his book, Quantum Healing, as the border between the seen and unseen), a thin screen
that shows exactly what patterns of intelligence are being manifested at the moment.

There is more to this simple comparison than you might at first suppose.
Without the paper to separate the two, the magnet and
the iron could not interact in any orderly way. Try bringing a magnet close to
some iron filings. Instead of forming regularly spaced lines, the filings simply
clump shapelessly onto the magnet's surface.
With the paper in place, not only do you have an image of the magnetic field, but if you
rotate the magnet, you can watch the iron filings move to mirror the new field
that has been created. If you didn't know that there was a magnet, you would swear
that the iron was alive, because it seems to move by itself.
But it is really the hidden field that is generating these lifelike appearances.

-Deepak Chopra, M.D., Quantum Healing

When a wave settles down, then it instantly recognizes That its source in ocean
- infinite silent, and unchanging - was always there.

-Deepak Chopra, M.D.

"We are opening up in sweet surrender to the luminous love-light of the one.
We are opening, we are opening"

-Wiccan Chant

But the holy stream of Sound, the Holy Stream of Life (life force, vibration),
and the Holy Stream of Light, these were never born, and can never die.
Enter the Holy Streams, even that Life, that Light, and that Sound which
gave you birth; that you may reach the kingdom of the Heavenly Father and become
one with him, even as the river empties into the far-distant sea.

-Jesus, Essene Gospel of Peace, from aramaic

(The Essene Gospel of Peace was discovered in the Vatican archives in 1937
and translated by Edmond Bordeaux Szekely. see http://www.essene.com/GospelOfPeace.
This scroll never survived the edits of Constantine's Nicean Council.
A point to ponder is that Jesus lived among the Essenes for a while.
The Essenes were a "gnostic" group who were more concerned with following
Jesus's teachings than with establishing a central historical orthodoxy.

As rivers flow into the sea, losing their individuality, so the enlightened,
no longer bound by name and form, merge with the infinite, the radiant Cosmic Being.

-Brihadaranyaka Upanishad

The River is flowing,
Flowing and growing,
The River is flowing,
Back (or "Down") to the Sea...

Mother carry me,
Your Child I will always be.
Mother carry me,
Back (or "Down") to the Sea.

-Source unknown to me. Probably a Wiccan Chant.

We all come from the Goddess
And to Her we shall return
Like a drop of rain
Flowing to the ocean

-Wiccan Chant

Perusha spoke, saying 'I Am', and thus was I-ness born. And even now, when a
person asks 'Who is it?'
he replies first 'It is I', and then adds his name.

-Brihadaranyaka Upanishad

Tell them I Am that I Am... I Am has sent me to you.

-(Exodus 3: 13-14)

Before Abraham came to be, I Am.

-Jesus

(Editor's note: The name "Jesus" is the Latin form of the Aramaic "Yeshua" and the
Hebrew "Yahshua". Both mean "I Am" (Ye, Yah) "saves or restores" (shua). interestingly,
"Ya" in Sanskrit means the indwelling soul which, is inseparable from God. It is the
true performer of all your actions.)

There is only one mirror without flaw: The Divine, in whom what is revealed is received
as it is. For this mirror is not essentially different from any existing thing.
Rather in every existing thing it is that which is. It is the universal form of being.

-Nicholas of Cusa, Catholic Cardinal (1400-1464)

And we, with our unveiled faces reflecting like mirrors the glory of the Lord, all grow
brighter and brighter as we are turned into the image we reflect.

-(2 Corintheans 3:18)

I would see nothing different from my own Formless Self, wherin the entire universe
exists as a tiny bubble.

-The Holy Mother, Ammachi

My self is God, nor is any other self known to me except God.

-Catherine of Genoa

Love is a sudden uprising in the heart... an unavoidable,
unobstructable longing for oneness.

-The Holy Mother, Ammachi

Even when you meditate on the name or the form of a God or Goddess or Mother, you are,
in fact, meditating on your own self, not on some external object.

Words are inspiring. They can lead us into meditation.
The words are just pointing to an experience.
They are also experiences in themselves.
It's the experience behind the words
That matters most.

In filling a pipe, all space (represented by the offerings to the powers of the six directions)
and all things (represented by the grains of tobacco) are contracted within a single point
(the bowl or heart of pipe), so that the pipe contains, or really is, the universe.
But since the pipe is the universe, it is also man, and the one who fills a pipe should
identify himself with it, thus not only establishing the center of the universe,
but also his own center; he so "expands"
that the six directions of space are actually brought within himself. It is by
this "expansion" that a man ceases to be a part, a fragment, and becomes whole or holy;
he shatters the illusion of separateness.

-Black Elk

Put that in your pipe and smoke it!

-some dude in Beverly Hills Cop, or one of those 80's flicks

But it is I who am the ritual, I the sacrifice, the offering to the ancestors,
the healing herb, the transcendental chant: I am the butter and the fire and the offering.

-Bhagavad Gita Ch. 9: 16

For thirty years I went in search of God, and when I opened my eyes at the
end of this time, I discovered that it was really He who sought for me.

-Bayazid Al-Bistami, Translations of Eastern Poetry and Prose

The Yogi, who knows that I and the Supersoul within all creatures are one
worships Me and remains always in Me in all circumstances.

-Krishna, Bhagavad Gita ch. 6: 31

Unenlightened men, who know me not, think that I have assumed this form and personality.
Due to their small knowledge, they do not know My higher nature, which is changeless and supreme.

-Krishna, Bhagavad Gita ch. 7: 24

You do not know me.

-Jesus

All rivers, whether they flow to the east or to the west, have arisen from the sea
and will return to it again. Yet once these rivers have merged with the sea they no
longer think "I am this river", "I am that river". In the same way, my son, all these
creatures, when they merge again with Being, do not remember that they originally
arose from being and wound their individual ways through life.

Now that being which is the subtlest essence of everything, the supreme reality,
the Self of all that exists, That art thou, Svetaketu.

-Chandogya Upanishad

Souls are like wax for a seal. By themselves they have no special identity.
The wax that has melted in God's will can easily receive a stamp of its identity,
the truth of what it was meant to be.

-Thomas Merton

For indeed the soul does no more in this union than does the wax when another impresses
a seal on it. The wax doesn't impress the seal upon itself; it is only disposed
- I mean, by being soft. And even in order to be disposed, it doesn't soften itself but
remains still and gives its consent.

-St. Teresa of Avila

Insight opens your mind. An open mind leads to an open heart.
Openheartedness leads to justice. Divinity is oneness with Tao. Oneness with Tao is
freedom from harm, indescribable pleasure, eternal life.

-Tao Te Ching

Know the Universe as your self, and you can live absolutely anywhere in comfort.
Love the world as your self, and you'll be able to care for it properly.

-Tao Te Ching

Love your neighbor as yourself

-Jesus

The fullness of joy is to behold God in everything.

-Julian of Norwich

Though I may travel far I will meet only what I carry with me for every man is a mirror.
We see only ourselves reflected in those around us. Their attitudes and actions
are reflections of our own. The whole world and its conditions has its counterpart
within us all. Turn the gaze inward. Correct youself and your world will change.

-Ano'Ano: The Seed. -Kristin Zambucka, a novel illustrating Kahuna teachings of Hawaii.

For my ally is the Force. And a powerful ally it is. Life creates it, makes it grow.
Its energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we
...not this crude matter. You must feel the Force around you. Here, between you
...me...the tree, the rock, everywhere! Yes, even between
this land and that ship.

-Yoda

Concentrate...feel the Force flow. Yes. Good. Calm, yes.
Through the Force, things you will see. Other places, the future...the past.
Old friends long gone.

-Yoda

"I am" (from "ena ena" [Aramaic], meaning "I-I", so "I-I am") the narrow path of light between
the worlds, the truth which can't be grasped but is known through harmony, and the
all-pervading life-force: No one comes to the Father but through me.

-Yeshua (Jesus)(John 14: 6), Translated by me from the Peshitta gospels with help from Neil Douglas-Klotz.

(Editor's note: The word usually translated as "truth" implies breath and
harmony/alignment. "Life" imlies life force (hayye).
This translation is based on subtle connotations of the words, coupled with
some understanding of how Aramaic-speaking people made sense of reality
during those times. Notice when Jesus refers to himself as a bodily form and personality, he uses the term "Son of Man".
Otherwise, he says "I". There is a deeper mystery to this than one might suppose.)

Quit flapping your gums about God. The most beautiful thing which a person can say
about God would be for that person to remain silent from the wisdom of an inner wealth.

-Meister Eckhart

It is better to see God in everything than to try to figure it out.

-Neem Karoli Baba(Guru of Baba Ram Dass)

Suppose I give a talk for three hours about blueberry pie. Can you taste it? No.
I will be wasting my time. Instead, I have to give you the recipe: One cup of this,
a tablespoon of that; put this together, mix, and then put it all in the oven. But
even that is not enough. You can't just take the recipe book, gold-gilt it,
put on an altar, wave incense, and say, "Blueberry pie, blueberry pie". You have to get
the ingredients, cook them, and eat the pie...God is not something that can be talked of.
God must be experienced. The day man started talking of God, he created all kinds
of religious fights and quarrels.

-Swami Satchidananda

His disciples said to him: On what day will the kingdom come? Jesus said, It will not come while
people watch for it; they will not say: Look, here it
is, or: Look, there it is; but the kingdom of the father is spread out over the earth,
and men do not see it.

-Gospel of Thomas

Whoever drinks from my mouth shall become as I am, and I myself will become he,
and the hidden things shall be revealed to him.

-Jesus, Gospel of Thomas (from Coptic)

When one sees by insight that all things are selfless, then one wearies of misery;
this is the path to purity.

-Gautama Buddha

Only one reality seems to survive and be capable of succeeding and spanning
the infinitesimal and the immense: Energy - that floating, universal entity from which
all emerges and into which all falls back as into an ocean; energy, the new spirit; the new god.

-Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

Truly the soul's being united with and transformed into Him is like fire consuming
the dampness in logs. Once the logs are heated through and through, the fire burns and
changes them into itself, giving them its own color and warmth and power.

-Catherine of Siena

There is no joy save that in paradise to be compared to the joy of the soul in purgatory.
This joy increases day by day because of the way in which the love of God corresponds
to that of the soul, since the impediment to that love is worn away daily. This impediment
is the rust of sin. As it is consumed the soul is more and more
open to God's love.

Just As a covered object left out in the sun cannot be penetrated by the sun's rays,
in the same way, once the covering of the soul is removed, the soul
opens itself fully to the rays of the sun. The more rust of sin is consumed by fire,
the more the soul responds to that love, and its joy increases.

-Catherine of Genoa

An Authentically empowered person is humble. This does not mean the false humility of
one who stoops to be with those who are below him or her. It is the inclusiveness of one
who responds to the beauty of each soul, who sees in each personality and in the actions of
each personality the soul incarnate upon the Earth. It is the harmlessness of one who
treasures and honors and reveres life in all its forms.

-Gary Zukav,Seat of the Soul

That thou mayest have pleasure in everything, seek pleasure in nothing.
That thou mayest know everything, seek to know nothing.
That thou mayest possess all things, seek to possess nothing.
That thou mayest be everything, seek to be nothing.

-St. John of the Cross, The Ascent of Mount Carmel

He who realizes the Lord God, the Atman, the One Existence, the Self of the Universe,
neither praises nor dispraises any man. Like the sun shining impartially
upon all things, he looks with an equal eye upon all beings. He moves about in the
world a free soul, released from all attachments.

-Srimad Bhagavatam, The Wisdom of God

...for when God sees the Soul pure as it was in its origins, He tugs at it with a glance,
draws it and binds it to Himself with a fiery love that by itself could annihilate
the immortal soul. In so acting, God so transforms the sould in Him that it knows nothing
other than God; and He continues to draw it up into His fiery love until He stores it to that
pure state from which it first issued. As it is being drawn upwards, the soul feels
itself melting in the fire of that love of its sweet God,
for He will not cease until He has brought the soul to its perfection.

-Catherine of Genoa

God (Alaha, the One Being) is Spirit/Breath: And they that worship/ surrender to Him must
surrender in Spirit/Breath and harmony.

-Yeshua, from Aramaic text (John 4: 24)

Ripe/Blessed are those who soften what is rigid in body and mind;
for they shall receive power and sustenance from the subtle forces of creation.

-Yeshua, (Matthew 5:5) from Aramaic.

(Editor's note: The word usually translated as "meek" literally means
"those who soften what's rigid". Ar'ah (usually "Earth") can mean all of natural
creation/environment. The Aramaic language and thought blurs the distinction between inner
and outer, hence "in body and mind". "Inherit" is actually "to receive
sustenance and strength from". There's no "good" and "evil", either, only
"ripe" and "unripe". This was his native tongue.)

In Aramaic, the name Alaha refers to the Divine, and wherever you read the word
"God" in a quote from Yeshua, you can insert this word. It means variously:
Sacred Unity, Oneness, The All, The Ultimate Power/Potential, the One with no opposite.
It is related to the name of God in Hebrew, Elohim, which is based on the same root word:
El or Al. This root could be translated literally as the sacred "The", since it is also
used as the difinite article in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Arabic.

If We think deeply
into this, we find it suggests that every "definite article" - every unique being
- should remind us of the One Unity. If only one Being exists, then every other being must
have a share in it. Individuality is only relative in this view of God.

-Neil Douglas-Klotz, the Hidden Gospel.

(Editor's note: Elohim has a plural ending)

Unconditional love is the experience of being. There is no "I" and "other"
and anyone or anything it touches is experienced in love. You can not
unconditionally love someone. You can only be unconditional love.
It is not a dualistic emotion. It is a oneness with all that is.
The experience of love arises when we surrender our separateness into the universal.
It is a feeling of unity. You don't love another, you are another. There is no fear
because there is no separation. It is not so much that "two are as one" so much as it is "The One
manifested as two". In such love there can be no unfinished business.

-Stephen Levine, Who Dies?

Now, I think, we can fairly well characterize what Zen Satori is: It is to be with
God before he cried out "Let there be light". It is to be with God when his spirit moved to
give this order. It is to be with God and also with the light so created. It is to be God Himself,
and also to be his firmament, his earth, his day and night.

-Daisetz Teitaro Suzuki, Living by Zen

We must do our business faithfully, without trouble or disquiet, recalling our mind to
God mildly, and with tranquility, as often as we find it wandering from Him.

-Brother Lawrence, The Practice of the Presence of God.

Warriors of the Rainbow
You don't have to fight
Just let go of your ego
Spread your wings and fly!
Spread your wings and fly!
Oh, Medicine River, Oh, Ganges, make my soul clean,
Come on, give us our freedom and some medicine dreams
But I wish to be a pure child, a pure child, of divine energy! Of divine energy!
Medicine people, healing the people along, all across the land,
If you are eager to be one of the medicine men, jump outside your ego,
Aand let the Great Spirit come in! And let the Great Spirit come in!

-Fantuzzi, musician, king of the Rainbow Gypsies, co-founder of the Rainbow Peace Pageant

Slowly a bow formed in the sky, a rainbow of people marching to glory, a rainbow of
unity and a vision so marvelous in its sense of beauty and joy that I can never forget it nor
hope to see anything its equal. Slowly, at the end of each dream, the vision of glory
would fade away, but the promise of it always remained,
the promise of a wonderful change coming.

-Vinson Brown, sometime after gazing upon an Oglala Sioux medicine bag
in the turn of the 20th century

People do not put new wine into old wineskins, if they do, the skins burst, the wine runs out,
and the skins are lost. No. They put new wine into fresh skins and both are preserved.

-Jesus (Matthew 9: 17), when questioned about his disregard of tradition

It is impossible for our limited minds to grasp the unlimited infinite One.
So the finite mind takes a little part of the infinite that it can understand and says "this is
God for me". It's something like ten people going to the sea with ten different containers
and taking some seawater.

-Swami Satchidananda

If you want to understand God, tune yourself to God's wavelength.
Until then, you can not understand Him.

-Swami Satchidananda

Eat any food you want, call it by any name you want, shelter yourself anywhere you want,
under the roof of a church, a synagogue, or the roof of the sky. It doesn't matter.
Choose your own way, to suit your own taste, temperament, and capacity. There's no need
to criticize or condemn those who follow a different path. Spiritual hunger is the same in all
- the "food" to satisfy their hunger may vary.

-Swami Satchidananda

"Hinduism", "Catholicism", and "Judaism", all the "isms" are different decorations.
But they all have the same basic principle, that the individual must become fit to realize
the Cosmic One, to know that he is not different from the Cosmic One. Let us accept all the
different paths as different rivers running toward the same ocean.

-Swami Satchidananda

He is the image of the unseen God and the first-born of all creation, for in Him
were created all things in heaven and on earth: Everything visible and everything invisible
...Before anything was created, He existed, and He hold all thing in Unity

-(Colossians 1: 15-17)

Yahweh created me when his purpose first unfolded, before the oldest of his works.
From everlasting I was firmly set, from the beginning, before earth came into being.

-Wisdom (Proverbs 8: 22-23), aka Hokhma, and later Sophia (Greek)

Come and eat my bread, drink the wine I have prepared.

-Wisdom (Proverbs 9: 5)

Although alone, she can do all; herself unchanging, she makes all things new.

-(Wisdom 7:27)

The Only Being has opened to you the way of religion that the One commanded Noah to follow.
It is the same faith that we have revealed to you and that we showed to Abraham, Moses,
and Jesus, so that true religion might continue in the earth.
Do not divide yourselves into sects.

-Quran (Sura 42: 13)

When the world practices Tao, horses fertilize the fields.
When the world ignores Tao, horses are bred for war.

-Tao Te Ching

The origin and mother of everything in the world is Tao. Know the mother and you
can know the children. Having known the children, return to their source and hold
onto her. Abiding by the mother, you are free from danger, even when your body dies.

-Tao Te Ching

Heaven is eternal, earth everlasting.
They endure this way because they do not live for themselves.

-Tao Te Ching

Tao existed before words and names, before heaven and earth, before the 10,000 things.
It is the unlimited father and mother of all limited things.

-Tao Te Ching

According to all the esoteric traditions within the collective Great Tradition of mankind,
to devotionally approach any Adept Realizer as if he or she is (or is limited to
being, or is limited by being) a mere (or "ordinary", or even "extraordinary") human entity is
the great "sin" (or fault), or the great error whereby the would-be devotee fails to
"meet the mark". Indeed, the Single Greatest Esoteric Teaching common to All
the esoteric religious and Spiritual traditions within the collective historical
Great Tradition of Mankind Is that the Adept-Realizer should ALWAYS and ONLY (and only
devotionally) be recognized and approached AS the Embodiment and the Real Presence of
THAT (Reality, or Truth, or Real God) Which would be realized (Thus and Thereby)
by the devotee.

Therefore, NO ONE should misunderstand ME.By Revealing and Confessing My Divine Status
to one and all and All, I am not indulging in self-appointment, or in illusions of
grandiose Divinity. I am not claiming the "Status" of the "Creator-God" of exoteric
(or public, and social, and idealistically pious) religion. Rather, by Standing Firm in the Divine
Position (AS I AM), and, Thus and Thereby, REFUSING to be approached as a
mere man, or as a "cult"-fugure, (and, thereby, trapped, and abused, or mocked) as the
"man in the middle", I Am Demonstrating the Most Perfect fulfillment (and the Most
Perfect Integrity, and the Most Perfect Fullness) of the Esoteric, and Most Perfectly NON-DUAL
Realization of Reality. And, by Revealing and Giving the Way of Adidam,
Which is the Way of ego-transcending devotion to Me AS the One and Only and Non-Separate
and (necessarily) Divine Person, I Am (with Most Perfect Integrity, and Most Perfect Fullness)
Most Perfectly (and in an All-Completing and all-Unifying Manner) fulfilling the Primary
Esoteric Tradition (and the Great Esoteric Principle) of the collective
historical Great Tradition of Mankind - Which Primary Esoteric Tradition and Great
Esoteric Principle Is the Tradition and the Principle of devotion to the Adept-Realizer As
the Very Person and the Direct (or Personal Divine) Helping-Presence of the Eternal and
Non-Separate Divine Self-Condition and Source-Condition of all and All.

-Adi Da Samraj

Humanity will find it is not a diversity of creeds, but the very same creed
which is everywhere proposed...There cannot be but one wisdom...Humans must
therefore all agree that there is but one most simple wisdom whose power is infinite; and
everyone, in explaining the intensity of this beauty, must discover that it is
a supreme and terrible beauty.

-Nicholas of Cusa, 15th century Catholic Cardinal

Do you really have to fret about enlightenment?
No matter What road I travel, I'm going home.

-Shinsho

To such people, I say that God is everywhere, not in a particular form, but as an
omnipresent awareness or power. God is consciousness itself. And by concentrated,
sincere prayer, you are tuning your mental radio to receive that power. If I say there is nice
music in this room, some of you may disagree and say, "We don't hear any music. How can
you say that there is music in the room?" To you, I say get a radio, tune it properly,
and you will hear the music.

-Swami Satchidananda

Once you become that, you understand it, but you won't come back to tell. It's something like
a drop wanting to know how deep the sea is. It jumps in, but it can never come out to tell
you because it becomes the sea.

-Swami Satchidananda

Everything you see has its roots in the Unseen World, the forms may change, yet the
essence remains the same. Every wonderous sight will vanish, every sweet word will fade. But do
not be disheartened, the Source whence they came is eternal - giving new life and new joy.
Why do you weep? That source is within you, and this whole world is springing up from
it...(deleted, sorry)...But do not think that the drop alone becomes the ocean.
The ocean, too, becomes the drop!
