Mask and Mask Systems |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Paintball can be dangerous if the proper precausions are not implemented. The most basic of all of these is a mask. The masks comes even before the markers do, in my book.
Order your paintball magazines by following this
link. I need the money made off of this.
Also send my pictures of your marker with a brief description and have it posted on this site. |

Brass Eagle | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
This is the Max Vision. It is similar to the Extreme Vision except it has NECK PROTECTION. It looks very nice and cost about $50.
This is a basic Brass Eagle mask known as the Celux. It is a nice starter's mask in that it is cheap and can be purchased at any store that sells anything paintball.
This is the Z-Leader 280 Extreme Vision. I highly recommend this mask since it gives the great 280 degrees view and allows for full movement of the head. Though there are two problems, finding replacement lens and it provides no neck protection. This runs about $46.
JT uses a special design in their masks to help prevent your lens from fogging up. This system allows for the hot air you exhale to escape from the lower side panel vents vents in the masks. This causes cooler air to enter from the front vents and the on the top of the side panel vents and circulate upwards into your lens. Note this exchange on the diagram with the JT Spectra Masks.
JT X-Fire is the most popular of the JT masks. It comes with most basic marker packages. It is very nice in appearance and protection. Highly recommended for beginners and intermediate players. Runs usualy about $30.
Much similar to others listed in this row, the JT Soft Stream is a intermediate mask similar to the Air Stream excpet with a visor.
This is the JT Air Stream mask. It is a nice mask allowing air to easily enter and leave the mask. It is an adverage mask in that it has basic protection of most of the face except forehead. It runs about $30.
The JT Spectra 260 Spectra Thermal provides a great view and along with the thermal lens, no fogging. This mask is for great tourney or intermediate and above players. It usually cost about $50.
Very similar to the Thermals, the JT Spectra 260 is the same execpt for the thermal part. If you are looking for a mask go for the thermals, they are worth the extra money. These cost usually about $40.
The JT X Fire Tactical System, a mask which I have no clue on anything about. Email me with any personal information you might have. | The JT
Flex 7 Pro Wetex System is similar to the Ice. I was informed that
you can aim better with the mouth guard, and sometimes if hit in the mouth
guard, the ball may bounce. This information cames from: Bknauer- Thank-you |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The JT
Flex 7 Ice System Thermals cost about $60. The Flex 7 is primarily
for looks. It is pretty much the same as Pro Wetex. There are
two types of lens that come with this mask; clear and color
coridinated. The colors this mask cames in includes: Glacier, a Moss, and Graphite. This comes from Bkauer-Thank-you. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Scott Intruder provides excellent protection of the entire face. Its proection extends for the hair line to the mid neck. They run about $40 and I recommend these for anyone looking for a mask with great protection.
The Scott Bad Ass Thermal is a nice mask to use. It's design allows air to freely move in and out of the mask similar to the Air System of the JT's. The Bad Ass runs about $65.
The PMI Extreme Stalker are a series of mask I have yet to see on the field or in an store. If you have any information on these email me.
Raven- Nuvis |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
These are the Raven goggle systems. They are known as the Nuvis. They are supposed to have a temple retention system which keeps the mask tight to your head and prevent moving, and in different light the lens are supposed to become lighter and darker. This mean that the lens are going to cost a little more.
