Papa Smurf

Here is the car. It is an 88 model hatch. I have cleaned the interior out of most of the junk that I dont need. I got rid of the passenger seat, Dash, Console, and a bunch of other juck that is just in the way in a drag car. I am going to have a custom dash built by a friend that is a sheetmetal worker, he is also going to help with the roll cage and the fuel cell box. I will put the pictures on here as the project progresses. She needs a new hood and a new passenger door and jacked up a new one drove in under her. Hey for a hundred and fifty bucks for the whole car I cant Bitch to much right.

This one pic of the motor that's going in. It is out of my 1990 lx 5.0 5 speed. That car started out as an auto but I swapped it out for a T-5 when I rebuilt the motor. It is .030 over with slightly ported heads. I have will be running Heddman longtubes, a Weiand Stealth intake, and a race prepped Holley 650 d.p. carb. This is what happens when to slide into a tree side ways on the passenger side going fast enough to rip the motor mount. This is what my neck and back felt like after that little trip.

Dad picked the car up for me while I was at work one day. He called me at work to tell me he had got the car and wanted to know how much I paid for it. I told him a $150 bucks and all he could say was "Good". Its alittle rought but she will be a mean machine one day hopefully.....maybe.... I pray.

This is just sad.

It is hard to belive but Ford Motor Company actually put a 4 banger in a Mustang. A damn shame. Knock on wood mine has run good. But its so slow. One day it'll look good I hope. Right know it kinda looks like a ragged piece. I will post some more pics when I figure out how and add some of my friends cars in a new section.
