Proline Masher 2000 Tire
Interested in getting into hardcore off-road conditions? Better make sure you got the
right meats on your rims!
These Proline Masher 2000 will get you there, but are not without their drawbacks.
After installing a set on the factory rims of this Associated RC10T; I noticed a great
increase in clearance. As a matter of fact they converted this stadium truck into a
near monster truck.
See the above photo to compare the sheer size of these things next
to a stock set-up.
These tires can go most anywhere, easily running through mud, rough terrain,
and rocks, and seemed to soften the landings of jumps. They also didn't
have much problem turning sharp corners, which I had expected.
Drawbacks are a noticed drop in run time, and a lower top end speed. Both these
drawbacks were expected considering the width, added weight, and larger overall
diameter of these tires.
These tires get out thumbs up from us. After many runs they showed little if
any wear.
It's always best to use tire foams, especially in large tires like these.
The Masher 2000 2.2 tires will set you back about $15.00 a pair; and were a
direct fit to the stock rims.
