FRONTSIDE 180 OLLIE

My Favorite Web sites

This trick is kinda hard, but fun when you can do it. In this trick you ollie and turn your body with the board with you, 180 degrees. In a frontside you turn towards your back, behind you. So if you skate regular you'll turn to the left, and if you skate goofy you'll turn to the right. The hardest thing with this trick is getting in the air enough, and being able to turn the full 180 degrees, so practice, and turn as much as you can and move up to 180 degrees, maybe starting by trying to turn 90 degrees.\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Step 1: This trick counts so much on the wind up. You want to prepare for the ollie, same footing. You need to bring you front arm and hand across you chest and wind up. Now ollie as high as you can, and as you start to get air turn you body hard in the correct direction 180 degrees. Hopefully the board will stay on your feet and follow around with you. ///////////////Step 2: Finish rotating. Try your hardest to finish the full turn, but if you don't, with practice you'll eventually get all the way. //////////////////Step 3: When you've made it all the way around slam your feet down and land. Always compress your knees. * If you don't make it fully around and land on the 2 front wheels, which will be in the back, you can pivot the rest of the way around. It still looks alright, and you can do this until you don't have to.
